The supermarket industry has deep roots in Zach Wright’s family, spanning three generations. The establishment of a health food grocery store in Oregon by his grandfather sowed the early seeds of appreciation for the vital role statistics play in a store's performance. This appreciation blossomed into Zach’s passion for data analysis, a passion he has nurtured throughout his career. With his extensive knowledge of the supermarket sector and his expertise in data analytics, Zach is a key driving force behind retailMetrix.

George Goodwin grew up deeply involved in his family's supermarket chains in Southern California, gaining invaluable experience from a young age. After years of working with a grocery-specific point-of-sale system, which was later acquired for a significant sum, George is now collaborating with Zach to transform the grocery industry. Together, they are leading the administration team at retailMetrix, developing a user-friendly system for store directors. This system is designed to empower them to make informed decisions that enhance their stores' profitability. Coming from an independent grocery chain background, George and Zach aim to collaborate with retailers who share their ethos, where they've seen the greatest success. They are committed to increasing profitability for other independent chains.
